How It All Began
The Story of Hey Kiddo's: Our Dream, Your Family The story of Hey Kiddo's was born from a deep desire for unity, love, and family connection. Our founders, Claudio and Graziella—who were born in Brazil but adopted Massachusetts as their true home—always dreamed of spending more quality time with their daughters, Zoe and Bella. The true inspiration for creating the business emerged after a period of immense exhaustion and sacrifice. To rebuild their family after losing everything, Claudio worked up to 80 hours a week selling cars, leaving home at 6:30 AM and returning only at 10:30 PM. The turning point happened on a cold winter day: while cleaning cars in the snow, Claudio, in tears, prayed to God for a life change that would allow him to be present to watch his daughters grow. Guided by her Christian faith, Graziella felt that God had placed a purpose in her heart: to create a space not only to unite their own family but to bless the entire community and create opportunities for young workers in the area. The project was always focused on family—so much so that the name "Hey Kiddo's" was actually created by Zoe, the couple's eldest daughter! As parents, Claudio and Graziella knew exactly what was missing in children's entertainment spaces and decided to build their dream venue. One of the most important features of Hey Kiddo's was born from a major scare: during a flight, Zoe had a severe allergic reaction to nuts, a terrifying moment that required the use of an EpiPen mid-air. Because of this experience, Hey Kiddo's was strictly designed to be a safe, nut-free environment. It also features a café with safe options for children with gluten, dairy, and egg restrictions. They wanted to ensure that parents of children with severe allergies could finally relax and trust the safety of the environment. Today, Hey Kiddo's is a safe haven in an increasingly busy world. The space offers colorful, clean recreation areas carefully divided by age groups, ensuring that smaller children can play safely without the risk of getting hurt around older kids. Thinking of the adults' well-being, the venue also includes a comfortable lounge area where parents can work on their laptops, relax, and enjoy great food at the café while keeping a close eye on their little ones. +1 The dream continues to expand: in addition to VIP rooms for birthday parties, Hey Kiddo's now features a learning center focused on child development with art classes, robotics, and much more, plus a professional media and podcast studio. Above all, Hey Kiddo's exists because we know childhood passes by in the blink of an eye. We are not just a recreation space; we are an environment built to promote love, happiness, and connection, offering you and your family a place to create unforgettable memories together.
